Riviera Travel Affinity Programme

Taunton u3a has teamed up with Riviera Travel using their ‘Affinity Programme’ for charities. This means that if any u3a member – or any of their family or friends – book a Riviera holiday and mention Taunton u3a when booking, then 10% of the holiday cost*, for all passengers on that booking, is paid to Taunton u3a as a donation to our charity.

How to Book:

• By Phone – just call 01283 742300 to make a holiday booking – mention Taunton u3a at that time

• Online – you can book online, but if you do, you must then telephone Riviera the same day, or the following morning, on 01283 742300 to ensure that your booking is logged and that Taunton u3a is registered to receive the donation.

What happens next?

Shortly after making your booking you will receive a confirmation invoice from Riviera. Please note that there will be no obvious reference to the u3a link on this letter. Simply let our u3a Treasurer know your travel date, holiday cost and your Riviera reference number, and the treasurer will ensure the link has been made.

Taunton u3a will receive a donation (about a month after your holiday finishes) of 10% of your basic holiday cost (for all passengers on your booking) from Riviera’s Travel Affinity Scheme.

Please mention this to friends and family – if they mention Taunton u3a when booking their holiday, then Taunton U3A will still get the 10% donation even if the person booking is not a member of the u3a.

How it works

Immediately after your holiday, the person who booked the holiday will get a ‘commission is ready’ email from Riviera. Simply forward this email to our Treasurer, Doreen, who will then raise an invoice direct with Riviera to claim the 10% donation for our Funds. SIMPLE!

NB Donations are paid directly to our Taunton u3a Funds, not to the person making the booking.
