Playing Folk/Country Dance Music

Aim is to bring together any musicians interested in playing this sort of music.Could be a mix of individuals performing prepared pieces, and all-in sessions of tunes we all know. I would be interested in: developing good tunes and combinations of tunesplaying them with good expression, rhythm, lilt, lift and finding interesting bass and chord variations, harmonies and improvisation
My own background is many years playing for English and Scottish ceilidh bands and for morris dancing.
