We start to gather at 10am to socialise with the session proper starting at 10.30am until about 11.45am. We share information about random historical subjects relating to Britain from pre-history to 20th century.

We have use of microphones and visual display equipment to enable the group to share information easily.

• Typical subjects throughout the year include:-
• a sociable historical quiz;
• Professional speakers;
• Historical walks around Taunton and surrounding towns in the summer;
• Some varied 20 minute talks by the convenors;
• Themed sessions where we encourage members to share with us all 15 minute talks of their own making (purely voluntarily). Space in the programme can usually be found if a member wishes to give a presentation of longer duration.
