Singing for Pleasure means just that; partially experienced and novice singers with the aspiration to improve. Songs are selected with this in mind, you don't need to read music and you are invited to make suggestions.
There are 40 ladies and 12 men in the singing group and occasionally vacancies arise but your enquiries are welcomed.
Singers use songbooks to which additional songs are added on a regular basis. The conductor also teaches the singers how to vocalise and warm up.
We are very fortunate to have the services of a fine piano accompanist.
It all seems to be going along very well with great spirit, and everyone seems to feel the benefit of using their voices in this way. The group has sung twice at the December Meet & Greet event and has performed several short concerts for the community around St Michael's Church and Trull.
